Professionally supplying of woodfuels to our environmental-friendly costumers

On Saturday, 9th October 2010 – starting at 10.30 there will be the inauguration of the Biomass Logistic &Trade Centre (BL&TC) of our forest company. The location is in Italy, Lombardia Region, Como province.

Since 2005 our forestry and agriculture company CIP CALOR Ldt. is deeply involved in producing and supplying wood fuels, like woodlogs and woodchips for energy purpose.

We are one of the first company in this field able to offer to the local market – both to public and private end users – the contracting supply of heat through the most advanced technologies, woodchips boilers on the market.

We are also aware of the importance of the wood chips quality and of the supply’s security and so we invested in an ambitious project: the realization of the biomass logistic and trade centre with a coogenerative plant whose co-heat production is used to dry woodchips so that we can offer a professional service and guarantee of wood fuels quality.

In our BL&TC costumers can also find woodlogs and woodchips which refers to the quality standards defined at European level, in term of size, moisture and ash content.

The centre consists in 1.400 square metre of covered area, and there is an all-around storing area direct outside, we have a weighing system and an innovative CHP plant which can produce 75 kW electricity output and 300 kW heat output used to dry fresh woodfuels. It's feed with woodchips.

On this basis we can offer to our costumership proved quality standards and to enable transparent and fair buying-selling.
We are operating locally and we intend to continue in valorising the local forest products in their all around aspects; additionally we can offer also sawmill service to produce costumer size wood furniture (tables, chairs, gardening, etc..).
CIP CALOR Ldt. is glad to invite you to visit our BL&TC and to seize the occasion to discuss other specific aspects of the biomass sector and their next developments.

PRESENTAZIONE

Carlo Galli

Since October '09 is in operation a new Biomass Trade Centre in Styria (AT) Minimize

On the 11th October 2009 there was the inauguration of the 3th Biomass Logistic&Trade Center Hartbergerland in Styria/Austria. The realisation of this successful project was a part of the programme of the IEE project BIOMASSTRADECENTRES.

In Austria all the 6 BLTCs planned entered in operation between 2008 and 2010. Moreover in 2009 LK and WVB created the working group ARGE Biomassehöfe of which all BTC in Styria are members. Christian Metschina is the chairman of the WG ARGE. Every 4 months a meeting to discuss new developments and improvements of BTCs is organised by Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Styria (LK-Stmk). During these meetings barriers and critical points are discussed for finding out common stategies to overcome them. New members must present their concept and based on this concept and the guarantee that quality criteria on wood fuels are fulfilled the members of the ARGE make the decision for an inauguration of new BTC in Styria.

This BL&TC has a dedicated website in which more info about can be gathered and contacts can be reached.
