Short descriprion of the WP 5
As some successful experiences has clearly demonstrated - at European level - the creation of Biomasse Logistic&Trade Centres (BL&TC) established by forest operators (those listed above) permits to organize a professional wood fuels spot market giving a costumers-friendly services and ensuring delivery and quality standards of wood fuels. Therefore the centre is able to obtain the trust of end-consumers, increasing the number of them who can switch over to wood heating systems. This WP represents the key action-purpose of the project, the aim is supporting technically the creation of a number of BL&TC, ex-novo or the enforcement and strengthening of those already existing but not yet properly organized. The reference organisation models we intend to replace (fitting it to the specific partner countries conditions) are: Biomassehof Allgäu-Kempten (DE) which is involved as subcontractor (www.holzbrennstoffe.de) and Biomassehof Waldstein (AT) (www.biomassehof-stmk.at) which is managed by Waldverband Stmk who is a project partner (see links listed on the home page).
